Learn To Dive
PADI Open Water Diver
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most recognized entry-level learn-to-dive scuba course in the world! It's your first step toward a world of underwater adventures!
There are 2 parts to your PADI Open Water Diver course:
There are many ways you can do this first part! In all cases, we believe you'll get the most out of your hard-earned vacations down South if you "Learn to Dive" (pool & theory) in Montreal before taking the plane. You'll learn more and... Who wants to be "studying" while on vacation?!
To complete the theory & pool portion of your PADI Open Water Diver course, you can choose among many Learn to Dive programs offered by Total Diving in various pools all over the island of Montreal. If our course schedule doesn't suit you, check our "Executive Learn to Dive Program" at the Holiday Inn Montreal Airport.
There are 3 different ways to complete your open water certification dives and they are explained, here.
That being said, although the PADI Open Water course is a good entry-level first step, we believe it is not enough to get you to truly enjoy scuba diving in a comfortable and safe fashion. Please check why, here! We strongly recomment the Total DiverTM scuba training program as a minimum first step. If you choose the Total DiverTM program, you'll get your open water certification dives for FREE!
The steps for you to become a safe scuba diver who feels comfortable underwater and truly enjoy the underwater world are as follows:
For your convenience, these steps are all included in the Total Diver training program.
Register in one of the "Learn to Dive with PADI Pool Lessons" programs offered all over the island of Montreal, and select the option "Total Diver" during the registration process, then book a prep session with Total Diving.
Having your own scuba diving gear will make your dives totally more comfortable, enjoyable and safe. You have only one life to live! Read more...
