Adventures About Dive Outings & Trips Get Diver Insurance

DAN Membership and Scuba Diver Insurance

Get Scuba Diver Insurance

We love scuba diving but we also love our family... Right? The cost of DAN diver insurance is really small compared to the amount you are spending on scuba diving. And DAN is the only dive safety association we have. So... Don't leave home without DAN diver insurance!

There are 2 kind of DAN insurances. The first one is an health insurance that you get with your DAN membership. The other one is a trip insurance.

DAN Membership & Health Insurance

This is not a corner you want to cut. Perhaps you have other health and travel insurance but... Do they cover scuba diving?

Let's say your regular health & travel insurance covers scuba diving in remote areas of this planet... Good! But... Do they know what to do if you call them about a diving emergency?

DAN travel & health insurance is not just an insurance designed for scuba divers, it is also an "help line" you can call! I've had to do it and I can tell you... It's reassuring to have a scuba diving health & accident expert on the phone, to help you find a way to evacuate a scuba diver from the dive site and reach a recompression chamber.

Therefore... Having DAN insurance is a requirement to participate in any Total Diving dive trip outside Canada - and it is strongly recommended, all the time.

DAN Divers Alert Network - Scuba Diving and Dive Safety Association

Click that DAN logo and get your DAN health insurance & DAN membership. You'll get insurance and you'll support our dive safety organization, at the same time.

DAN Travel Insurance

This is an optional (although highly recommended) insurance to take when going on a dive trip down South. You are most likely used to that type of insurance. Everybody tries to sell you one: Air Canada, your travel agent, the bank issuing your credit card and your next door neighbor, probably! Up to you... But DAN is an association for scuba divers ;)
